I'm struggling to install NBT unit back as the carplay box is not fitting correctly behind... Is there a secret place? |

All the way in the back, at the bottom where the base of that compartment is. Take care to move all the cables to the left and right as you push the NBT back so they're not getting in the way. It definitely takes a few tries before you find the magic spot.

I was plugging the Wifi antenna connector before trying to slide the box underneath NBT. Bad idea... |

Not to mention, the AVIN has a resolution of 1920 x 720P vs the 1280x480 for this Bimmertech product, and the bimmertech product doesn't give its hardware specs, which always makes me suspicious. The AVIN product is: Android 10 With 4GB RAM, has 4G SIM Card Support, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

I've successfully installed the CarPlay unit and have got it working ok.
But now my hvac controls do not light up or work at all. They lit up for a few seconds, but the fans weren't activated or blowing any air. Then now it just doesn't work at all. There are only two plugs. One blue and one black. These have been connected properly afaik. Could it be a blown fuse perhaps? |

It's strange as the two plugs in the back of the heater controls are securely plugged in and have that sliding clip to secure it too.
