Pic Request...Style 612's or 375's in Black
I've narrowed my wheel purchase down to these two different styles. Post some pics to help me make up my mind.

^^^thank you sir, I remember seeing those pics in the random X5 shot of the day. Look great on your ride! What I'm really after is the 612's and 375's in a black finish. Mine being mineral white, I feel like black is the way to go.

Whoops, missed the black memo. Well, the inside of the wheels are black with a machined face - has to count for something!

Love the 22" replica style 375 wheels in satin black but that particular finish has been on back order the past several months. Not sure what the hold up is. The gloss black or regular gunmetal finish can be had but I'm hung up on the satin black. I have been able to locate the 22" replica style 612 wheels in satin black but seem to like the 375's better. 375's would cover more of the brakes compared to the 612's which is important because I'd rather not have to dump money into upgrading the brakes. With my exterior color being mineral white do you think the 375's in satin black or gloss would look more appealing? Here's my X5 (19's are so tiny!!!)

Fender flares will be installed after the wheels and will be painted body color. I think the painted fender flares will break up some of the black from the wheels and tires. As far as the loss of detail, I can see what you're saying but I like the black wheel look. Plenty of wheel detail in those black 375's.

I have a white x5 with black matte flares and 612m. Happy to send pictures although car is quite dirty up here in Whistler. For me, that worked out to be the best combo for looks.

Oem 21" 612m

Try to find a oem set if you can it's pricey but if you plan on keeping the truck it's worth it. Plus the 21" oem 612m rims are forged lighter and stronger! |

So I think I've decided on the style 375's in gloss black since I've been waiting on the satin black finish to be stocked for 3 months now and there's no ETA. I think the gloss will look nice with the metallic flake of the mineral white.

Reps are fine, so long as they are decent quality. There are lots of people who disagree, but I'm not one of them lol

I had reps on my previous 2007 E70 X5; they were great except I curbed them often due to the tires pulling in and rim sticking out.
