Well I bought M6 calipers and Tronik F85 adapters today. Also ordered the F85 front and rear rotors from my local dealership. For the guys running these, is it both set screws that don't line up, or just one?

Debating grabbing E70 X5M rear calipers, or taking the plunge and buying calipers from Tronik. That price though....

I don't think Rear conversion is worth the hassle or the money. Paint your stock ones same color and get better matching rotors. I agree, tronik prices are so high but he has monopoly on how much to machine off, no one knows lol

F15 hub has only one hole to screw the brake rotor. I measured and redrilled the hole in rotor hat ( it’s aluminum so easy to drill)

What pads are you guys running with the F85 + tronik rear caliper. BMW M pads are way too dusty

I am running powerstop ceramic BUT when you first start the car, loud ass squeal for first 50ft or so. They are pretty good otherwise. Virtually no dust.

Hmm, not sure I can deal with that. I used to have E70 X5M front brakes on my E70 35D, with BMW pads and squeal.

Got the calipers with lines used locally, all of them are direct fit except the rear rotors mounting hole has to be redrilled to secure to the hub. Some people just don’t use that screw as rotor holds fine with wheel bolts

Looks awesome. I need that fender vent! Where did you get that? Is it just an X6 one on an X5?

Made it myself, used x5 trim base, added couple layers of carbon fiber, shaped it to look like x6 trim and clearcoted. X6 trim doesn’t fit

The rears from tronik are like $1500 if I recall. I think he wanted $1300 if you didn't want them painted blue already. Look amazing. Couldn't justify the cost for negligible performance change on an SUV lol. But hey I just sold my whole kit so what do I know. Lol

So I found and bought 410x36 RR rotors 34116786631 left and 34116786632 right on eBay Germany today. These are the same rotors as used on the armoured BMW F03 750LiS/760LiS. I will mount them on my E53 in order to try whether they fit or not.
If not, there is another pair of 410x36 RR rotors worth giving a try: 34106874905 left and 34106874906 right. Maybe they will do. We will see.
Just wondering if this was ever resolved. I may go bonkers and put the RR ones on my F10 with the RR Calipers but wondering if the 410x36 are confirmed to fit since you had acquired them. Let us know

I was able to work something out with Tronik for milled unpainted rear calipers with lines and bracket. Now to decide what colour to get them powdercoated. I was thinking this green

Already received the front calipers from a recycler

I'm putting together a custom kit up front. I have an 8 piston Brembo caliper and we made an aluminum bracket for it. I am using 34116886481, a 365mm rotor from the 50i. This Brembo caliper originally used a 360mm rotor. I am trying to find a cross-drilled rotor option. Everything lines up really nicely so far. Looks like I will needed extended caliper hoses.

Hmmm are these ceramic calipers? I think they are a different part number and uses different rotors. I inquired about them too and didn't fit my F15 so I just went cheaper route with E70 X5M. I ended up making money selling the F10 ceramic brakes.

Calipers are the same, you need to get the bracket from Tronik (already purchased and tested)

It cannot. MPBK coding requires VO coding. I believe bimmercode can only FDL code. I used esys. There are links out there for downloading and installing if you have a enet cable.

Today I received my Rotors from Brakenetic and I'm a Little disappointed. The coating is chipped on one of the front rotors and I'm sure this will rust within months if not weeks.

What do you guys think?

Also, do you guys know what those lines are on the rotor? Should I be concerned?
