Love my new X5M - some observations

I love this vehicle so much - it's so different from my M4 but such an easy and fun car to drive everyday. Whenever I walk to it, I smile. It really is a constant happiness machine. Only one shortcoming so far seems to be the eyeglasses holder, I can't find my rather small Maui Jims sun glasses in there.......

Does it not have a compartment below the light selector switch on the left?

It sure does! Thanks to you I just found that. My glasses still don't fit in there. Is there some secret to getting the built-in holder in the top center to hold them?
I can't imagine I am doing it wrong lol.

So I was at my dealership yesterday and sat in an X5 (they didn't have an X5M). I noticed this compartment I suggested is considerably smaller than on my M5. I'm assuming the X5M is the same as the X5, which as you said is too small for sunglasses.

my sunglasses are on the large side and i put them in lens first and they fit just ok in the sunglasses compartment next to the map light but i noticed that the button gets stubborn sometimes with or without the glasses inside.

I have an X6M, basically same car as the X5M, best daily sports car ! Just came back from a road trip, super stable cruising at 90 - 100, flew to 120 when traffic permits, takes corner like a sports car.

I don't see X6Ms often but when I do, I just can't keep my eyes off of them!

Glad you mentioned the sunglass holder... I thought I was crazy when I couldn't fit my smallest pair in there.
