Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on desired BDC_BODY => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown => Select OK => Right-Click on BDC_BODY (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Did not mean to send two - Sorry.
I misspelled a few things and thought I could correct/delete the old one.

How ever, It seems I already use the latest E-sys. Are there any updates and/or batches I should dowload/install?

RTTI is a subscription services, requiring authorized VIN.

Ok,

I have activated SLI at BMW. And most connected services. But I'm guessing I need a specific authorization for the RTTI?

Only possible to activate at BMW?

Sorry to hear that brother! I was hoping you found the fix to the elusive Sport+ feature for Xline owners. Thanks for the update!

Odd that your modules keep getting corrupt.

Didn't your ICM get corrupt when you tried to code "sport mode" to always be on?

No but when I did a cafd update. Seems I have a sensitive car. Another example- I can only change the orange/first ambient group. Any of the other 2 and it corrupts bdcbody.

Sorry to hear that. Make sure to add a Benadryl additive in your gas tank prior to coding. Lol

Great job with the coding tutorial and FAQ. I have successfully coded many things. But there are a couple things that didn't take into effect.

1) Unlock all doors when engine turned off

Unlock when STOP Engine BDC_BODY 3040 VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK nicht_aktiv aktiv

Mine doesn't have the choice for aktiv. Only nicht_aktiv is available in drop down box

2)Turn off dim for (front) DLR when Headlights are on. (DLR Stay 100%) FLE (both)

POLI1_Idx F015Wert_SA552_SAE Unknown = Change 3rd byte from 0C to OA
Production date post 06/15 FLE (both)

POLI2_Idx F015Wert_SA552_SAE Unknown = Change 3rd byte from 0C to OA
FLE (both)

POLI3_Idx F015Wert_SA552_SAE Unknown = Change 3rd byte from 0C to OA

With the DRL 100% setting, my third byte was already set to 0A from factory, yet the DRL rings still dim when the headlights are turned on. I checked for FLE modules and they were all set third byte to 0A.

Does anyone else have this problem or have they gotten these two features to work? Thanks

I should be updating the entire OP tonight or tomorrow with Playtookies' helpful info and the cli code someone mentioned above for unlocking all doors when the vehicle is parked - I coded two 2016 loaners to test everything with the latest software, and that does indeed work. I have also found a much much easier code to make your Halos 100% bright with your headlights on and parking lamp mode. So, you do not need to even touch the FLE folder - I double checked it and the 0C was in fact changed to 0A in that third parameter without having to switch the three codes in each FLE folder.

BDC_BODY:

100% Halos with your headlights:

1) MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_STANDARD change from 7.2V to 13.7V
2) MAPPING_STANDL_V_R_PWM_STANDARD change from 7.2V to 13.7V

100% Halos when parking (P) lamps are on:

1) MAPPING_PARKL_1_V_L_PWM_STANDARD change from 7.2V to 13.7V
2) MAPPING_PARKL_1_V_R_PWM_STANDARD change from 7.2V to 13.7V
My 2016 F15 X5 has a slightly different variable than what is shown above. All my variables have a '1' between the PWM and STANDARD word.

MAPPING_PARKL_1_V_L_PWM_1_STANDARD is what I have in my FDL file. I tried changing both of the respective values from 7.2V to 13.7V but my Rings are still dimmed when the main headlight is on.

The UNLOCK when STOP engine function (BDC_BODY 3040) doesn't work for me.

In the FDL file, VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK only has the "nicht_aktiv" choice in the drop down box. There is no "aktiv" choice. I tried manually changing the werte value to 01, but when I do it shows UNKNOWN" in the option box. Doors still doesn't unlock when I turn off the engine.

I have the same exact file as you. I wasn't successful coding it either.

For door unlock on engine off, the coding parameters are different depending on I-Step.
In newer CAF's, VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK only has option for nicht_aktiv; whereas earlier version had also had aktiv.
Check to see if you have CLI_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AFTER_END_OF_DRIVING, which can be set to aktiv.

As an aside: X5 and X5M have different Launcher selection but same E-sys target.
