I just traded in my 2017 X5 xdrive 35i for a 2018 X5 50i which is why I'm selling the 35i tune. I have proof that it's the stage 1 N55 bootmod3 license. I'm asking for $375.

I don’t know what other proof you want. If you’re interested we can do the transaction via PayPal which protects both of us. I’m in no rush to sell it so it is what it is. If you feel like it’s a scam then it’s your loss.

First off, for those questioning - This can be verified by VIN or by license number through BM3 support and can be transferred in the same manner.

OP - you can provide security by opening a BM3 transfer ticket and having that available and having the buyer reference that when reaching out to BM3.

Just trying to help all involved here.

Also - yes you can buy the map pack for the license and put any tune on your car - the license is for the VIN, the map pack is separate and never transfers with a purchase (you need to buy it new $50)

Edit Also - Licenses may be transferred one time (hence selling for a lower price than new), for buyers info.

Sorry I didn't reply quickly I just saw this.

For the OP and your sake - yes is can be bought for different motors. This license will be valid for any motor in the store that has a single DME and is $595.

If you have a V8 or dual dme car, the license fee is $895 and you will not be able to transfer between these types.
