Original Akraprovic and BMW CF Mirrors after 3 years

Hello,

I just wanted to share some photos of the carbon fiber akraprovic diffuser and Mirrors coming Originally from bmw dealer. So this basically happens from the sun but I think it can be temporary fixed but will happen again shortly

This will continue to happen ; not limited to apropovic; as long as exposed to sunlight. Sailors have been using carbon fiber for years for items like spinnaker poles. As I recall you had to paint poles with anti UV paint that was not clear...just sayin

Bud I've had crap China made cf on various rides and I've never seen anything like this.

The type of sun (heat, UV, etc.) you see in LA and the type of sun he sees in in Abu Dhabi are a little different. Just saying. I've seen a fair amount of carbon fiber that looks like that here in Hawaii if it is left outside in the sun all the time and not properly maintained.

Wow, that looks crazy. However, knowing how hot it gets in the UAE I can understand it. I imagine the sand wouldn't help much either, it's crazy seeing the effect the heat and sand has on CF and plastics.
