Wood trim polish?

I have accumulated some minor hairline scratches on my fine line oak wood trim clear coat. Is there a way to buff this out myself?

Not sure how you can buff it out, but I've applied a thin layer of spray on wax, which seems to help protect the surface for future.

I've used scratch-x on wood trim and it's worked after a bit of elbow grease.

I had my detail shop polish the scratches out and apply a small piece of Xpel clear film. It feels funny to the touch but it does a good job protecting the fragile wood trim.
