Which WIFI Antenna do I need to install in my BMW X5?
Hi All,
I am new to this forum and really don't know how to navigate the website yet. Notwithstanding, I need some help with my Carplay. I have just installed the Carplay app. to my car but I am having problems with connecting my Iphone to the Carplay that I have installed in the car. Sometimes it connects without any problems but the majority of the times, it says it is unable to connect with the phone's carplay. The seller told me that I need to buy and install a WIFI antenna. My questions to this forum are as follow: 1) Does anyone know how I can possibly resolve this problem? 2) Can the WIFI Antenna resolve this problem? 3) If the WIFI Antenna can resolve this problem, which one do I need to buy for a BMW X5 manufactured in 2017 but purchased brand new in March 2018? Thanks in advance! |

Just bought this used "5.0" in February. I have already learned a great deal from these boards and already enjoy the ride! It is certainly an improvement over my e53 3.0 with 185k miles.
