It would have been nice if they added all season tires as an option to those 20s.

especially on the X6, I couldn't imagine driving without rear and side cameras in that thing (granted my wife never uses them, and has hit several things because of it)

My guess would be they assume people wanting 20" wheels also want summer performance tires, meaning they will be swapping those with a set of winters if they live where it snows...

I couldn't even find all seasons to match the 20s. Maybe it's because tire makers won't make them.

Too many things are optional on top of the range/top series BMWs - used to be the joke about do you want a steering wheel with the car...

But it is 2016, whilst I understand it on say a basic 1 series, it's lame so much is missing.

Agree, I don't think BMW can compete will the amazing interior of Audi Q7 by only adding contrast stitching..

Runflat would be great. I'm seriously considering the 20 and would be happy to swap summer or all season.

I couldn't find them anywhere. Dealer is a little clueless too.

I never understand why people go for the compromise of all season (no season) tires. Summer performance and dedicated winter tires (for those of us who experience winter condition) makes so much more sense. With all seasons, not only is the handling compromised, but stopping distance is also inferior to summer or winter tires in their respective condition.

Some people don't want to be replacing their tires every 20000km. There are some high performance all season tires like DWS 06 and they will last you more than most summer tires. Many have commented that the handling is not that much different and instead praise it to be quieter and smoother.
I have two sets of tires and i will be looking to change my summer tires to all season and still have a set of winter.

It will be from Week 1 2017 production, as will BMW Advanced audio.

Well, for UK buyers it will be standard, (don't know if its for any other markets?) as my dealer has just sent me an email about my order saying that my order spec will be changed due to changes being made by BMW commencing week 1 builds.

Unfortunately, the interior and exterior design packs are now not being offered on the SE which has pissed me off....as the base model looks rubbish without the extra bling and the front and rear 'skid plates'.....

Typical with BMW, changes with slow implementations make it always a bit of gamble, we about to put an order for the X5 40e, and was considering the reverse camera option but now I see you got confirmation this is now standard for this side of the Atlantic I guess.

I have to make sure I have the up-to-date list of changes since normally Ireland matches UK on spec.

GeeRam Are you saying standard spec for UK will include Rear View Camera as standard?

Have you ordered the M Sport?

moving the edrive badges to the d pillar better not translate to moving the xdrive badges there too.

also, would love to know why the window trim was changed from body color to matte black.

the diesel gets a 1600 price hike for the same new features as the others yet the edrive gets no hike.. can we see this as bmw moving away from diesels to push their edrive?

contrast stitching not available for ventilated seats.. thats going to be like 90% of the cars bought. i would have thought getting the best seats would get the stitching and not the other way around.

initially they say alternate wheels but then further down talk about streamlining it (removing options)

a lot of this looks like cost cutting measure by bmw but charging more.. who would have thought...

My dealer moved the production slot for my car to Feb to see if the rear view camera show up as standard, I am ordering the 40e M sport, unfortunately no sign of it as standard.
So the mystery goes on, especially when the document in this tread do not refer to it. I was going to include this as an option if standard I love to know so I can spend my cash in something different.
Will hate to confirm the order now and miss out on the idrive 5 with touch screen by couple of weeks only as well any other features.

Interesting. I went into my dealer last week and spoke to the sales guy about model changes etc for next year. He seems confident that there are going to be quite a few changes so I'm not going to order replacement M Sport 3D until February at the earliest.
