This is simply normal for high performances brakes. Repeated low temperature use make them squeal.

Find an empty country road, get up to 50mph, apply the brake firmly down to 5mph, get back to 50 and do that 7-8 times, then drive around braking the least you can for 5-10 minutes to let them cool, go back home, park the car until they are cold to the touch.

You can do that again when the sound come back in a few months/weeks.

A permanent fix would be to get organic brake pads, at the expense of the brake performance/heat resistance.

TBF it's standard at model run out to offer specials but ... the recent X3 leaves me pretty 'meh'. No new engines in flagship cars M5 etc and jus the prettt lazy design language of late and terrible models such as the 5GT, no wait I mean 6 series of course

I'm starting to somewhat fear for the brand moving forwards, as a general barometer I see myself desiring less and less models of the range. Hopefully this turns around pretty soon with the new top team.

....squeaking brakes is part of driving a high performance car. If you don't like it buy a 35i
