I like the red pinstripe on the lip idk but it just works for me. Lol and you painted the calipers too? Hmm does it come in a high heat variant?

i would definitely black out the wheels so the paint pops out even more!
front bumper I would either remove red stripe or cover the reflectors with same color of body

No, not the door jams and inside stuff. Unfortunately they still are Mineral White, its a pain to do that and I'm fine leaving them the way they are, although the trunk jams were autoflexed.

Thanks. Yes that was the idea to make it look like one of the M colors, but with a subtle change in the color, so it stands out. So far I had two people ask me what M color was this

Yes, I like the red stripe too, keeping it for the moment. The calipers didn't come out well, will send the pictures when I get a chance, the red color is a bit dull and doesn't stand out.

I was so tempted to gloss black out the wheels, the good thing about this is that even if I dont like the black wheels I can simply peel off the paint . I kinda like the reflectors, I know many here dont.

It certainly looks nice in the pictures, but would love to see it in real life. I cannot imagine that being cheap. Do you have plans of upgrading the wheels? Seems like you've done everything BUT the wheels!

It is certainly cheaper than OEM paint and it looks as good (or better) as OEM finish. The whole thing costed me $2k. As far as wheels, I wanted to get the 22" aftermarket 599M but they are no more available, then almost decided to buy 21" 599M and backed out at the last min. Now I'm thinking 612M

What made you think twice about the 599M? I love the 612M but think they look best on a real X5M...

I really wanted the 22", so I can add 335 wide tires but 22" aftermarket seems not to be available anymore. 21" 599M was never really my choice, but I forced myself to get one when I saw a classifieds ad and backed off at the last moment, I think its a great looking wheel though. As far as 612M, you are right it is better suited on a X5M. All in all, I'm probably staying with the 469M

I REALLY like this color - great work and thank you for sharing.

I really don't like the red on the front lip and can only imagine how nice it would look without in contrast to your body color with the cf.

have you or would you be willing to ask how much it would be to remove back to stock for your lease turn in? curious what that charge looks like although manual owner removal probably wouldn't be too much of a hassle.

You are welcome. I have received mixed feedback on the red stripe, tends to have a higher luminosity in pictures as opposed to in real where it is subtle. As far as peeling off the autoflex paint, it costs about $200 to $300, ofcourse you can DIY, will decide this in 30 months when my lease ends.

Lol not close, although it is a good image comparison (damn that google image search ) So far the red stripe is not bothering me yet and as I said it is not that visible in real, the luminosity is exaggerated in photos.

I was never a fan of red stripe, but guess I missed the side shots before. Now, really dislike with matching side. Though, to each their own.

Still love the new paint.

I've had 2 of my cars trim and wheels autoflexed and they look awesome. I've never had the entire car done but this is spectacular. Guys in Philadelphia charge about $3500 for the same work so you got a great deal. Even though I wouldn't do the same colors and stripes to my car, I absolutely love what you did and the uniqueness of it. My point is to not let anyone tslk you into changing anything, you did a fantastic job.
