Threads like this become dick measuring contests after awhile. "I've had 42 Ferrarris, 102 Porsches, a dozen Lamborghinis, etc., etc."

Currently, enjoying the M5. Hopefully, it will make the list
you have enjoyed some cars I've had and some I haven't but always wanted: the viper, 911 and 3000Gt

The GT was really a car I wanted for years, back when I was in highschool there was a white dodge stealth I used to always see on my way to school and it looked so cool

I think when one answers this question they must frame their criteria for "favorite". I tend to keep cars a long time and to high mileages.

Based on total ownership experience (how much it cost to own, how many miles I got out of it, and how much it breaks or broke):

1 - 2006 E90 325i
2 - 1988 E30 325i
3 - 2008 E86 Z4 3.0si Coupe
4 - 1997 E37 Z3 1.9L roadster (still have the James Bond license plate for it - BMW delivered them that way )
5 - 1982 Ford Escort

Based on Best liked to drive:

1 - 2008 E86 Z4 3.0si Coupe
2 - 1997 E37 Z3 1.9L roadster
3 - 1988 E30 325i
4 - 2006 E90 325i
5 - 1972 Ford Pinto 2.0L (was most excellent for bootlegs)

The E21 320i fits in here somewhere, but I never owned one, just drove a few a lot.

Since someone brought up scooters (favorite to ride):

1 - 1990 Honda CBR 1000F
2 - 1994 Kawasaki Concours
3 - 1982 Yamaha Seca 650
4 - 1999 Honda Valkyrie Interstate
5 - 2019 Indian FTR 1200S (hoping this will move the CBR to number 2 )

That 328 was Crazy Fast he had it upgraded from Ferrari and this was back in 90’s it would do 200 top end I don’t know really how fast it could have been faster but still had a lot of life after the speedo stops at 180.
Wow, I'd enjoy hearing those stories-you must have many great ones to spin!

I will say this... the most satisfying moment I ever had in a car buying life was after struggling in business for a few years and being able to walk into the Ferrari dealership in Newport Beach realizing all the hard work had paid off and telling the salesman "I want that one!".

That’s the best feeling ever just thinking in your mind I did it.

I did the same thing about 3 years after I started my business I walked in ferrari of Atlanta and bought the new Ferrari 348. It is the best feeling ever I was just thinking 3 years ago I could afford rent on a small house that was 850$ a month now I own a new Ferrari and a expensive house non financed. I was working 18-20 hours a day everyday though it was hard but it paid off and it still is

That reminds me when I went to buy the 348 the guy in Ferrari dealership tried to sell me the new F40 for $399,995 I wish I would have bought it but at the time I was just like no that’s pretty pricey I’ll take the 355 but no one knew it would have been 1.5million today.

Yeah but honestly if I worked hard to be able to afford a string of Ferrari's I'd probably talk about it in this thread too. Just like if I had a foot long dick is probably enter dick measuring contests because it's and easy win and a chance to feel proud of my huge schlong.

I've only owned seven cars in thirty years of driving, if I had to choose five of them they'd be in this order, although I wouldn't want to have any of them apart from the e92 as a dd nowadays.

E34 3.6 M5

My current e92 335i

1966 1679cc cal look beetle

E36 328is

E39 6spd manual 540i

I can only state the 2 worst cars I've ever owned-

Mazdaspeed3-

Ungodlike torque steer, extreme traction issues w fwd, very weak motor mounts, 0 tuning capability at the time. The car is the net result of what happens when you try to make a made up sport car out of a mazda3... the vw gti is simply on another level.

BMW 135i-

Short chassis car designed around a poor runflat suspension. Very twitchy car with the worst open diff known to man... add to that really bad looks and the reliability plagued N54.

I have had probably 30 vehicles over the years and finally have my favorites right now and happy with them all.

1. Truck is a Raptor.
2. Fun car is my 1965 AC Cobra replica (Backdraft Racing).
3. Commuter car is 16 Golf R
4. Kid hauler is wife's Grand Cherokee
5. Boat Is 2019 Nautique G21

Not looking for anything else as garage space is full.

I had a 1971 Corvette that I loved. Bought it new and had it for a little over 6 years, but had to sell because I needed more than 2 seats

I did not list it as a favorite but did own a 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette. I was not the two tone silver model but white. Original one owner that I bought in 1985 for $6000.00 and mint with 50k miles....it was a great car with no problems, but I didn't pay much for it so lower expectations!
