Going to miss my meaty 325 rears...maybe I should have kept my extra black 612M with Yokos. It's all your fault cmyx6go
I'd rather you blame me for taking your big rears away than you having a holy shit moment on those sleds and saying, Damn, she was right. Should have gotten narrow winter set up.

Weather was turning sour and had to finally cave. Slapped the winter shoes on a few days ago. OEM square 20s in orbit grey with Pirelli Scorpions.

The BMW winter setup works great. These are designed in Bavaria after all.

So what tire pressure are you guys using on the 611M winter setup? 36/32?

Thank God I swapped out summer for winters. No problem at all with yesterdays nor'easter. But I can tell you a lot of people did.

Great shots! I’m so glad to be done with the snow and in Texas.

I know...just figured you were an outlier. But apparently I am, if I'm following the manual's recommendation.

At this point, I'm more curious why BMW would have made such a strange psi recommendation.

I can't fathom how the info is correct. I would say it was a typo if this info was for a staggered set up and it should have been 32 psi front and 36 psi rear but for a square? And who ever heard of rears being less than fronts? It's bizarre. I wouldn't even try it. Are you going to give it a shot?

You guys are hilarious.

Drove my X5M all last winter on factory recommended pressures. Have been doing so again this year. The car has yet to spear off into the ditch, explode, eject me through the sunroof etc.

So you're running 36/32 psi?

And bite your tongue...correct tire psi is very important to us M3/M4 owners

A little pissed as one of the brand new rear tires from the bmw winter set seems out of round or balance. Makes a dreaded 'whoop' sound each rotation. Nice of BMW to take my 3800 and give me that shitty product and inconvenience. Also noted these tires were made in 2016 from DOT code. That sucks too.

Don’t be such a hater... I’m just really excited to be new to the brand. It’s my very first BMW (and M).
