DINAN...So the used Stage 2 (no warranty) is around 700 close to the asking price of RaceChip

What would you guys do if you would still have warranty on the car. Just go with RC or risk it and go for Stage2

Anyone knows if its possible to get a warranty on a used Dinan Stage2?

Racechip. No you can't get another warranty. Dinan ain't worth it even with a warranty imo. Too expensive for such little gain. Plus RC is customizable to a degree to how much power you want or are comfortable with.

But there are better options for tunes now. DME etc.

I see. Looks like more reading for me before I make a decision.

I had RC before but on my GL550 and wasn't really impressed with the gains. I had allot of issues with it and had to mail it to Germany twice to flash it...It was a much bigger car so maybe with F85 the story is different plus I can get it from the forum sponsor and with that hopefully an easier support in case of issues.

Sorry to hear your bad experience with RC on GL550.
I personally haven't sold or install one on MBZ, but from what I've been selling throughout BMW cars and some Maserati Ghibli, RR Vogue, Toyota Land Cruiser, it has been good feedback.

They will be very close in HP since both limit the boost increase to 3psi ish due to the limits of pump fuel.
