Middle Console Organizer

So my last SUV had the same type of "black hole" approach to a center console design - meaning just one huge deep hole you toss everything in and dig for it when you need it and hope you don't pull the trigger on your hog leg stuffed in there.....

But I found a decent organizer that at least holds the main stuff you need to most often where you can get your hands on it.

Now I am looking for the same thing for the X5 - anyone got a cool one they can share before I pull the trigger on one of these???

https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Armre...sole+organizer

https://www.amazon.com/Central-Organ...sole+organizer

https://www.amazon.com/TongSheng-Con...sole+organizer

Mine has the cell holder delete already (I assume - might have came that way from the factory?) I like to have my "stuff" close at hand and organized - I MAY be a little OCD about it..........

Just wondered if someone already found one better to keep me from recreating the wheel!

Thanks,

Matt

I feel the same way I have been looking also. The only thing I'm worried about is I use a USB drive and I don't know if there is enough clearance.

I like the last link in Amazon.. I think I'll grab that one and test it out.

If you look at the last one it has plenty of clearance..

I just looked at all of them and they all have the clearance or opening for the USB drive hole.

These look great. Do you know if it will impact the inductive charging? the depth of these trays may obstruct the inductive charging tray.

Cool - post them up when you get them. I like this one as it has a few more compartments and a change holder - which I love for parking and drive throughs. Hate taking off my seatbelt to dig my change out - and I hate carrying change so here is a good place to store it. I use it a lot in my old car. I'm hoping that little side slot has enough room for my super bright mini flashlight I carry with me all the time for quick access. Just ordered it.

That one looks good too. Maybe the best of your suggestions.

If you are referring to the phone cradle that is in the middle console - I think this will not work if you still have that in there. Looks like it only works if you have deleted the phone cradle.

I have a small leather pouch with a string tie I carry all my quarters in and store it in my center consol. The pouch holds about $25 dollars worth of coins. I'd rather use that instead of in the consol as i'm afraid it may get lost in the center compartment and a pain to remove and recover.

I'm hesitating on ordering due to the description as follows.

Quote:
Installation method:
1) The items back with auto adhesive glue.
2) Clean the surface where you want to stick. Keep dry and clean.
3) Please do press hard especially on the edges at least 2 mins after installing.
4) If the weather is cold. Please use the hair dryer(hot air blowing)in order to provide the best connection.
5) Please don't touch water and Keep dry after been install at least 72 hours. Or it will easy to fall off. All orders will shipped within 24 hours!
If You Need Help Or Have Questions About You Order Please Contact us We Hope You Never have the need, but if you do,our service is friendly and hassle-free
I was looking for something that doesn't have glue or adhesives.

I'm way too lazy for that! I like to pop the console lid grab what I needed one handedly and close it up. Been using mine for 5 years now, and it has worked great. I don't drive like Evel Knievel though, so maybe that is why!

That is not bad at all for a cool $16. I may order it so it gets here in time for the car to arrive.
