wheels and tires
I am looking for exactly what you are selling. I am in Boston and can arrange to meet and pickup although due to timing it may well be after Thanksgiving Day, unless you would consider meeting in CT perhaps...

These are not winter tires. I really wish people wouldn't mislead potential buyers this way. They are all-season. I have these, and while they are serviceable, they won't compete with winter tires.

Don't see OP's post to be misleading when he mentions hes on Conti DWS which can be used as a winter set around the tristate area as that looks to be where he's from. I have used all season tires during winter for 20 years back when I lived in VA to where I live now in NY and never had a issue. I agree for colder areas that have frequent snow dedicated snow tires are granted but around here in NY winter tires are an overkill. I just got back from work and it's snowing pretty hard right now in westchester with ice like road conditions and my DWS's held its own

Seems like the one needing learning is you in the reading department where does he say winter tires are equivalent to AS tires. I have DWS06 on my 20s for winter and I call them my winter set oppose to my 612s for summer guess I need to learn to use my words too! |

You sound very sure of yourself but truth be told you have no clue. Last year when I was shopping around local dealers for the 623m cold weather package each dealer offered a choice of pirelli scropion AS runflats or pirelli snow/ice tires both as a cold weather package so if you want to get technical I can go there. I saw you as someone who gives out good knowledge but as of now Im a bit disappointed

It seems like this discussion arises every winter. Tiresome...
These tires work great in snowy conditions and the ‘S’ stands for Snow. We can all agree that they’re not classified as a “winter tire” and leave this For Sale thread alone. Geez.
