Something or someone scratched my door. I decided to try some touch up paint; very bad decision, I made it worse (and from some reason the original BMW touch up paint is lighter)

I have the “BlackVue DR750S-2CH Car Black Box/Car DVR Recorder, Built-in Wi-Fi, Cloud, Full HD, G Sensor, GPS”

There are newer versions but this one is awesome and checks all the boxes. The install was faulty simple, takes about 30-45 minute max.

Any updates on the i8?

Looks like you need to make a visit to a auto collision center, ASAP.
That sucks so bad.

yes, it was, that's why I tried the touch up paint (to avoid any rust)

indeed, I'm getting quotes now (but not using the insurance, is not worth it under $1k)

yes, they said the AC compressor failed so they ordered a new one

Well I hope it wasn't someone being malicious and was an accident. Either way I think you are right in getting the dash cam.
