I went with the 20's primarily as the 21's are never in stock anywhere and secondly from my limited test driving the 20's seemed smoother. They look practically identical and are of the same overall diameter so they both fill out the wells the same.

I just dont see the point in 21'/22" winter tires (way too little sidewall). Like mentioned before 21" tires are never in stock. My bet if you live in a winter environment is 20" oem and 22" aftermarket (summer). If you dont deal w snow than 21".

why not keep the 21s for the summer and aftermarket 19s or 20s for the winter?

I bought my X6M 3 weeks ago with 21s then bought a set of 20" winter wheel set a couple of days later.

I like the 20" and 21" OEM equally. Overall diameter is the same so they fill the wheel well the same. Since Pirelli redesigned the PZero it is right there with M. Might be a slight advantage to 20 for tire availability and a slight advantage to 21 for track performance.

i prefer the 21s due to pure bling appeal , and they really do look the part . 20s looks tiny to me now , i know its only 1 inch but i always notice when i see a x5m/x6m .
guess for practicality i would choose 20s if i thought snow and terrible roads is all i had to deal with , overall 21s are nice ;-) |

I have both, and as similar as they look the 21s always look better to me. Just doesnt make sense to have 21s in winter time imo, not here in the Northeast. Just this morning i walked out of my building and saw an LBB X5M with 21s parked out front and started counting the days until I can swap back to 21.
