23" wheels - who got it?

Hi,

do someone has 23" wheels on his ride?

If yes, could you post a picture and give a short statement about riding comfort?

Why waste your time going from 19" to 20", and then 21" to 22", then 23" etc when you can go straight for 30"!!! Lol!

You know you want it! :P

To me its way overkill.

Look at how thin the tire is. I can't say this looks better than 22" unless its just for bragging rights.

They look cool -- I especially like the stance of the last one.

But as Alan pointed out, for what purpose? Some of those setups leave no margin for error as the sidewall has all but vanished. In places with suspect roads, the probability for damage rises to an unacceptable level (for me).

Again, they look great (if that's your taste) but at what point are you willing to lose safety and function for form?

IMO this is right at the tipping point where they start to look like wagon wheels.

I passed an F-Pace the other day and couldn't get over how awkward the tall and skinny wheels looked on it. It reminded me of some of the cars in the YouTube video above.

Just remember the golden rule of lowering the car if you go up in wheel diameter. 22+ with stock ride height looks... not good.
