Exclamation Help! how can i reset the ecu on my x5 f15 ?

recently my x5 f15 xdrive40e starts to act wierd, how can i reset the ecu?

ECU? Which one? There are lots of ECUs (electronic control module) in a modern BMW. See an example of the communication bus topology chart below. Also, as mentioned above…your one word description of the issue “weird” does not help “paint the picture” of what your issue is about…or which of the multiple ECUs that you think is acting weird.

Until you can “pull a code”…can you give a better description of what “weird” thing(s) is happening which could help point to which of the many ECUs you think a “reset” will fix the issue.

Based on that description, sounds like you need to do a Hard Reboot.
