After getting this you would need to get your X5 coded for 6NS or 6NH in order to use it. Plus you would need to buy a universal snap-in adapter for Apple lightning cable.

Actually now that I see it, I want to know too. I have one in my F10, never bothered to use it! The USB cable seems to works great for just about everything I do (Apple Music streaming, charging, Spotify app, Google Maps).

I have gotten reception using this method in some very very remote places. More useful then people seem to think.

Not hard at all. There's a DIY somewhere on here showing how to remove it. It's basically the reverse order of that DIY.
