This has been my spare wheel and tire for my 2014 BMW X5. It is the front wheel size. I just bought a new G05 X5 and this doesn’t fit it.

The tire is a Continental contisportcontact 5 SSR, 275/40/20 run flat and the tread reads between 6/32 and 7/32. I think they only have 8/32 new, but I’m not positive on that. I lost the mate to this tire and bought two new ones and kept this as a spare. I didn’t want to be out of town and not have a full size spare anymore, it can be a real hassle if you find yourself in the middle of nowhere with a blown tire and have no spare or even the donut spare.

The wheel is BMW style 451, 20x10J ET40, has a machined finish and is an OEM replica that I bought new on Ebay. It was on the ground once for a few days while I was getting a tire valve replaced, and it performed perfectly, no vibration whatsoever. I used it as a spare, as I said, but would not have hesitated to use it as a regular wheel if that need had ever arisen. There is no curb rash on this wheel, the circular fine lines you see in the pics are the “machine finish” per the Ebay seller. You have to get close to see them.
