Weird bug?

As I walked into my garage this morning, I noticed all my windows down and sunroof open. I know for a fact I never pressed my keypad at all due to hanging it on my key hook.

Anyone experience this?

Off topic question. Isn’t the garage door buttons on the rear view mirror supposed to have power all the time. When trying to open my garage daily, I always have to turn on the power in order to get power on the rear view mirror buttons.

I guess I’m getting used to it. My 07 X5 always had power.

Thanks!

I don't think its powered all the time. Mine isn't either. Really annoying actually.

If the garage door buttons were powered all the time, and you were parked outside, someone could break in to your x5 and then open your garage. Powered off is how it should be when vehicle is off.

This. I agree that it should be powered off when the car is off. It's a security issue. If it was powered all the time then I'd be unhappy about that.

My wife's Honda homelink is powered all the time. Then she got broken into. Luckily they just wanted into the car and didn't try but we immediately deleted the garage from her car. Which really sucks now as she can't use it without putting a big brick in her purse or using the app which isn't the most responsive. But still annoying with such an oversight.
