Weird bug?
As I walked into my garage this morning, I noticed all my windows down and sunroof open. I know for a fact I never pressed my keypad at all due to hanging it on my key hook.
Anyone experience this? Off topic question. Isn’t the garage door buttons on the rear view mirror supposed to have power all the time. When trying to open my garage daily, I always have to turn on the power in order to get power on the rear view mirror buttons. I guess I’m getting used to it. My 07 X5 always had power. Thanks! |

If the garage door buttons were powered all the time, and you were parked outside, someone could break in to your x5 and then open your garage. Powered off is how it should be when vehicle is off.

This. I agree that it should be powered off when the car is off. It's a security issue. If it was powered all the time then I'd be unhappy about that.
