Hood Latch

Has anyone replaced the latch with the sensor in it (passenger side).

Mine intermittently reports the hood is open or setting the alarm off.


Just wondering how hard of a job this is.


Unless someone knows how to clean it or adjust it so this stops.

R u sure it’s the latch that’s causing the issue? Have u check the hood stops on both corners to make sure it’s not pushing up too far on the hood preventing the hood from sitting properly?

No, I haven't tried this, the hood alignment looks correct.

Does it get lowered or raised?
