Anyone successfully coded the Auto Unlock when turning off the car? Is it a multi coding option?
I coded it in but it doesn't work. I coded it successfully in my F30.

I got the veepak today. I will mess with it tomorrow...

That being said, I'm curious if Sport Auto Transmission and sport+ can be programmed into the S35i?

I kinda wanna try launch control... lol

OK, I came to this thread to ask about this... I read in another thread you need bimmerlink to clear errors, and when looked on the play store (android) no such app is there...

so this is an apple only app? My kids have my old ipads, which I guess I could use... or borrow a phone from my parents I guess, but it's either that or esys?

Guess I'll see if I can get bimmerlink on the kid's ipads... they are like 1st or 2nd gen... I don't even know if it'll work lol
The app will work. It's free if you buy BimmerCode so just do it. Lol
Mav, are you saying bimmerlink is free if you buy BimmerCode?
Ya.
Weird. Mine still shows that it's 36.99(Canadian)
Hmm. Ya I got it through the BimmerCode app and it was free.
Lucky. Maybe I will email them and see what they say
Let me know what they say, I'm in Canada too

That's a no go on free app. Developer emailed me back and said it isn't free.

I am trying to enable Driving Mode Memory in Bimmercode, and it is now set to active, but when I re-start the car it still defaults to normal, rather than the last mode I was using. Do I need to be in Expert mode for this?

Memory does not work, in my experience. You can switch default mode though.

Strike that, it works on F15, not on G-series.

I have coded that last year and you can also find it in this thread somewhere.

It's just that it needs to be coded at 2 different places. If you do only one of them, it doesn't work.
I have written down something like this:
- BDC_01 > Driving mode on start up
- ICM > Driving mode on start up

Let us know if it does the trick

Bumping this one.
I'd really dig this function if it worked. Opening the driver's door on my JK Sahara pops all five locks.
I'd settle for that too if anyone knows if/how it's possible.

Ok so I had indeed only coded in BDC (first time coding ), I have now set it to Active in ICM as well, but unfortunately no dice.

I notice in ICM there is also an option for the Default Driving Mode which cannot be turned off - does this override the Driving Mode Memory? I was hoping that if I strted a journey in Sport/Eco Pro, then on starting the car again for the return journey it would remember my previous setting....

If I remember correctly, there are 2 things possible:
1) Remember the last driving mode you were in before turning off
2) Select the default driving mode of the car

I have only done the 2) using the same process described here:
https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...3&postcount=20

For the 1), it should be at the same place.

Also the link of the thread itself talking about it:https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1482187

It should work. I have mine set to be in sport by default every time I start. Remembering what it was when shut off is the other option. Does the same thing for the A/C.

Thanks for taking the time with this. From what I have tried (active in BDC and ICM), it seems that I can only choose a default setting which the car remembers, and not the last selection I made. There is no option in ICM to leave Default driving mode unassigned, which there is in BDC, and I think this is the issue. I will contact the developer and see if this is the case...

Another one that doesn't seem to take is parking lights angel eyes @100%. Mine are considerably brighter with the switch off. Just took these in this order:
#1 = Off
#2 = Park Lights
#3 = On (low beams)

Just got my 2018 X5 back from the dealer and they erased some of the coding I did last summer. I went to re-code and don't see the one press mirror fold option anymore on the updated Bimmercode app. How are you coding this on the new app?

If you have adaptive headlamps, then coding is in light module (TMS or FLE).

It absolutely works - have mine coded via bimmercode

Yeah I reached out to the developer and he confirmed it was a paid app.

so I tried doing the hard braking to flash brake lights instead of the other one (I can't remember now. enlarge area or something?).

I got it to work and got the lights to flash... BUT.... when they flash, all my exterior lights cycle (headlights and all) and I get an error about the lights and to take it in for service.

any ideas on how to fix this?
