Dinan Stage 1 vs MPPK
Many dealers are now authorized Dinan installers. I'm not worried about warranty since BMW does the install.
Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on which one to go with or both? MPPK runs about $1400 installed and Dinan cost before labor is $2095 and recommends 1.5 hours labor. So maybe $2400 installed. Dinan offers more power compared to MPPK...is it worth it for an extra grand. Or do you go with both for $3800? |

I suggest you to go MPPK
1. You can have factory protection 2.MPPK is already powerful 3.cheaper than Doan 4.you will not lose money when you sell your car (some people do not like any part which is not from factory) |

Dinan will cover anything the dealer does not if it is related to their hardware or software. The Dinan tune will give you a substantial lift and is recognized well enough that it is one of the few aftermarket modifications that buyers see as a bonus. You can also sell the Dinan tune as it is contained as a separate ECU when you get rid of your car.

Spoke with BMW Princeton today about Dinan stage 1. They are an authorized Dinan dealer. They said not to stack Dinan on top of MPPK as you will not add to performance...you will only get one or the other if both installed.
Also installation is about $240 for Dinan price installed is $2300 plus tax. Dinan covers any warranty issues, and dealer deals direct with Dinan so it is seamless to customer. |
