I LOVED the seats in my 2010 X6. The napa leather was incredibly soft and comfortable. I enjoyed every moment in those seats. I was upset when I couldn't get the napa in my 2013 X6 ///M. Although the leather texture was different, the seats were still a pleasure. I am very disappointed with the leather options and quality in addition to the seat design These seats belong in an entry level vehicle, not in a vehicle with a sticker of almost $100K. This is my 6th BMW and it will be my last unless they change direction and go back to offering comfort, instead of cutting costs on cheap seats. Rant over |

6' 7" 260lb here. Reason i got the X5 was it was the most comfortable and roomy for my size. Initially I wanted to go the X6 route, but my head was hitting the top and could not do it. I don't even have the seat all the way down and have some decent space above my head.

Im 6'4" and fit in both the X5 and X6 with ease, and thats with the sunroof extra, which allegedly reduces headroom.
The rear of the X6 is not that comfortable, as mentioned earlier. If I put my head fully back against the headrest then my head touches the roof. |

I am only 6'1", I have plenty of room in my X5 with the comfort seats. I felt cramped in the X3 which is one of the reasons for getting the X5.
