Finally Here! SC delivery
Just got back from picking up the beauty from South Carolina.
The experience was amazing! Started off the morning with an X6M doing some braking tests and slalom. Then came the drifting in a 335 and follows with a hot lap in an M3. My car was then delivered to me and all features explained. After lunch we went off road on the X5's and followed by the tour of the X3 and X4 plant. They did not let us in to see the X5's and X6's due to them getting ready for the X7 production. Even the BMW reps were not allowed into the area, guess they are working on the prototype. Any questions you guys have, ask away! In the mean time, here are some pics!

Hey we have the exact same car except mine's mineral white... but same interior. If you want the front tint to exactly match the rest of the car, get 3M Color Stable 35.

Oh yeah, so were you surprised by the $950 multi-contour seats? When I configured my car online and placed the order, the $950 never showed up. Apparently when you order M-Sport with the red interior it automatically tacks on the $950 multi-contour seats but the configurator fails to show this... it's a bug.

I did not order them, 2 weeks after placing my order I found out my MSRP increased by $950....At that point I was like alright whatever its not a big deal but I am actually very happy I got those seats. Absolute comfort!

1100 miles on the car already but well worth the trip!
If you think about it, its 16 cents per mile, $175 in overage is not bad at all. I highly recommend the journey to anyone picking up an X5 or X6
