Finally I took that clip for the flap, opened manually and and use piece of wire to keep it open all the time.
Feels like little bit louder but not much, I like the look when you can see steam going out from both pipes.

I'm driving with this valve open for few days now with same type driving and I've noticed better mileage then before.
Did you have same experience?

Genius Specialist recommendation for open valves on a cold start for an F85:

- Press Ignition with foot off the brake
- Switch to Sport Plus
- Tap gas pedal to activate and open valves
- Press foot on brake
- Press ignition to start the engine

I inow this is an old thread and Ive done this mod last yr, but has anyone noticed that on an X5M(F85) with the dual quad tips, there is no exhaust pressure coming out of the driver inner outlet? I can feel the exhaust pressure out of the outer on drivers side and both outlets on the passenger side? Wierd? Or is that how its designed? Both sides have their individual flap modules. I used Carly to
Open the flaps and then pulled #146 fuse….anyone have the same issue? IF in fact it is an issue?? Thanks
