Fluid on power steering reservoir
Just curious if this is normal and if so can anyone provide reasoning? I've cleaned it up before and I know the little cap on the top lifts up but I'm curious why.
Thanks guys.

Reviving an old thread.
While trouble shooting a recent DTM/CEL, I noticed there's some dried fluid in the steering fluid reservoir - similar to what OP described. I could not find the part # for the O ring. So I ended up replacing the cap which already has a new O ring. In case you're in the same predicament as I am, here's the part # for the cap. Good thing is FCP euro has them so next time the O ring fails again, you can just get another cap from them. |
