Hi guys, I'm looking to get into a new M5 around November/December timeframe so I'm planning to put my X6M on swapalease (I really don't need 2 SUVs in my family, and realized this only now But probably there is someone interested in this forum, before I do that. I took over this lease in August from a guy in California and the car is in great condition. The front tires should be changed before lease-end (4/32). I changed the back tires. I also purchased the 2 years free maintenance in august and it's transferable! Also did ceramic paint coating. update: I'm negotiating for a M5 now, so the X6M is available 2016 X6M Donington Grey / Aragon Brown Full Merino Leather all options except: Night vision and Rear Entertainment System Lease info: Monthly Payment: $1,455.96 + tax Current miles: ~13,000 (I doubt I will go over ~15,000 by December) Miles at Inception: 69 Original Contract Total Miles: 45,000 Miles Allowed at Turn In: 45,069 Excess Charge Per Mile: $0.30 Term Length: 36 Months Contract Start Date: 11/27/16 Contract End Date: 11/27/19 Residual Value: $63,015.30 Disposition Fee: $350.00 Last edited by fbuzila; 09-06-2018 at 02:19 PM.. if I get 15k miles per year, 45k/3 years yes, way more...this X6M had an initial 10k downpayment (btw I don't recommend any downpayment on a lease)

That was a terrible lease deal to start with. $10k down + $1587p/m = ~$1887p/m effective. You can get leases for $200k cars for that money. Guy was in Cali as well, the best place in the Americas to get a BMW deal. And the car had 69 miles on it so had clearly been there a while.
I leased an X5M last month 36 months/12k miles with 12% discount off MSRP for $1470p/m inc Texas taxes which are horrific (effectively adds $200p/m onto my lease). You can get a decent discount on the new M5's if you look in the right places: https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/2018-bmw-m5-lease/61212. I know Florida is a tough place to get a good deal though normally. Good luck with the lease transfer and the new M5. |

Yeah you can lease out of state, but you still pay your states taxes (not the state where the dealer is). Most dealers will require you to appear in person at the dealer to sign documents to prevent fraud but you should do all the negotiating by email/text. But the discounts can more than pay for the travel/time involved.
I've read a lot about people in Florida having to go out of state to get decent deals, so you're definitely not the only one. Similar situation in parts of Texas. Sorry to hijack your thread, PM me if you need any help. |
