Help me pick which 22s pics below

Alright I believe I’ve made my mind up Before anyone asks or shares their negative feedback, ratings are 100% with zero negative. Also come with structural, and cosmetic warranty. I’m looking at these two pictures below. I’m not a huge fan of black on wheels but it’s not a bad looking wheel. They are going on a space grey msport. I think I have chosen these over the 469m style. Thanks!

I typically like darker wheels, so I will vote for 2nd one, although first one looks great too!

My vote is for the first set.

Bottom set looks like it's trying to be an aftermarket wheel, but is an OEM replica.

Yes, 1st one is better suited for space grey
What size are they? Have you matched tires? Don't rush - it will be extremely hard to sell wheels later if you'll change your mind

Saw those, I’m a bigger simple type of guy. These are similar to the 469m style but will fill the wells out more. Also very similar to the xm5 wheel. To much on that last one. Reviews are perfect with them so I figured why not. People will have opinions that’s why I asked to not bring any negativity.

Any concerns on reliability/safety with the replica type wheels? I'm on the fence too on whether to buy wheels like this off ebay or go the Vossen 22" route.

There's always concern with no noname replica rims, but this is the deal: more risk for less money or less risk for more money? Choose your poison. Funny but this same principle applies to almost everything starting with the car brand choice as well: some may choose more safer Volvo car, but some will "risk" and buy BMW (arguably not as safe as Volvo) in order to have more driving pleasure

Replica rims made in Italy may be as good as OEM, but then again how do we know we are sold quality product? Ebay sellers don't show us certificates, we have to believe them based on their reputation lol. The only other alternative is to buy oem or like you said famous brand name like Vossen. Tho even they are not 100% defect free

For me personally, experience with those replica rims were only positive, but I'm a science guy and I know what to expect from replica vs OEM - if you lets say hit the curb: oem rims may bend but will remain structural integrity, while replica rims may brake into several pieces - so don't hit the curb

Option 1, but agree I would not buy cheap Chinese knock offs, and I would not buy off eBay, especially when there many good vendors on the forum that you could buy quality product from. I would not spend big money on OEM wheels either, if you going to spend that kind of money get some HRE or BBS etc... they will be way better then OEM.

If you hit a curb that hard any rim will fail, including OEM. And oem are not 100% defeat free either...

The way most X5 are driven having the highest quality rims is not essential. If you are tracking the car and pushing the limits having quality rims is essential.

Concerns yes, mostly balancing, but there is warranty with that. I’ve looked into them, as I know people will disagree with this purchase it makes sense for me. In two months I’ve put right at 1000 miles on my x5 probably the most careful person when It comes to driving. With 100% feedback, contacting the seller with questions it worked for me. To everyone it will not. I’ll say as with most people only will buy name brands such as Michelin, conti, etc, I’m also gonna buy a set of atturo tires. They are cheap, I’ve looked into them. One of the few sizes that come in a 275/35/22 and 315/30/22. Reviews are anywhere from 4.5 out to 5 to much more. It’s hard to find a bad review. And they are a very cheap tire compared to others. I look at It as to each their own. My roads aren’t awful here and don’t drive a ton. Some do, and may see or have issues. If I do with any of it it would clearly be my fault. For the price and reviews of both the wheels and tires it’s gonna be hard to beat
