incoming call goes to iphone not car's answering system

Hello There. Any help there for this issue. As I stated in the title all of my incoming phone calls goes to iPhone first. Then I need to click on the phone in order to enable call to go through car's voice/Bluetooth . Is this some kind of software update I am not aware off or something else. Thanks.

Did your iPhone has 10.3.2 OS?

Try this: Delete the pairing from both your car and phone Bluetooth options. Then reboot your phone and re-pair.

I've found sometimes on my F10 that either the phone or car goes into "hung" mode where neither phone nor BT streaming works. A reboot usually fixes my issue. Every once in a blue moon I have to re-pair. It happens very rarely for me, though.

Make sure you have the phone set to be phone 1 in iDrive. It could be that it is only set to sync music and not the phone.

how r u answering the call? if u swipe on ur phone to answer, it will default to the phone's ear piece, but if u push the idrive controller to answer, it will be routed to the phone's bluetooth system.

+1 on all of the above...actually had that happen to me today. Was playing music fine, but didn't show as connected when trying to make a call. Re-paired and all was well.

From what I gather, Bluetooth is the standard that no one actually follows all that closely, hence the hiccups that occur from time to time.
