Just wanted to shout out: Zero problems in my 2015 X5 xdrive 35i at 75k miles thus far

In regards to reliability
So far it out wins my Lexus, Nissan, Acura, Audi cars

Currently on par with my previous Honda

Maintenance: Regular maintenance up to 50k at BMW dealer (oil/filter changes), tires replaced x2 with Delinte Tires, spark plugs/brake fluid replaced around 60k. Will be replacing brake pads/rotors soon (around $500 parts and installation combined)
Mods to engine: RaceChip

Has gone through rough Ohio winters (lake effect snow is terrible)

My next car will be a BMW based on the fact on how reliable this X5 was.

Man that's what we all want to hear So they do exist!

Mine is 31k, tuned, beaten the crap out and still no issues as to reliability! 2014 x5 50i - beats my Dads previous Honda Fit that had couple issues at 30k miles (rear left strut was shot and had to change rotors already at that mileage). BMWs are finally kicking some serious ass in reliability department to Japanese cars

Great to hear. Just picked up a 15 35i with 32K on the clock and this gives me some peace of mind.

55k, rear brakes/rotors changed, all spark plugs, crankshaft ventilation hose, driverside door kickplate replaced, driverside door weatherstripping replaced, seat squeaking still being worked on (3rd time), rear liftgate adjusted, shifter/center console trim replaced, and sunroof lubed up.

And most recently, a turbo charge airline hose ruptured... which isn't covered under the platinum warranty! My brakes are due in 1k-ish.

I've been more proactive recently... using heat tape and engine compartment wiring protection.

Do believe that the F15 is a solid chassis.

Oh perfect since every single 2015 35i will be 100% trouble free mine is now guaranteed to last at least to 75k miles. I guess I should forget the extended warranty.

I hit 50k last week. The only issue I’ve had was a door handle light, fixed under warranty. Will probably keep for another year or so.

I think I'm going to order this one whenever I need the brakes done. That seems like a pretty good deal.

Those are very highly rated ones. It was either going to between those vs. the ones I got for me but the ones I got were on sale (approx. $200 less).

No issues with the iDrive Controller, or lower control arms? Mine went at 40k miles, and iDrive controller been replaced twice.

Ventilation hose also swapped, misfires at 42k miles, cylinder 5 plug and coil replaced, ended up swapping all of the myself.

Curious about these two kits as I will need new brakes soon. My concern is everytime I venture out from OEM pads I get squeeling

To the OP, thanks for sharing your good fortune. I'm close to 60K in my newly acquired X5.

I haven't had any issues with iDrive or the control arms. How much did that cost?

2014 50i. All great except ignition coil related misfiring that started around 25k miles (a bit too early). Ended up swapping all coils and plugs for peace of mind. No issues otherwise.
