I have KW V3s on my E60 M5 but don't know the answer to this. At the highest setting spring setting, is it the same height as stock or lower?

The rear certainly can be.
Looking at the front shock, there is a LOT of adjustment to the lower spring perch. I would have to guess you could go as high as stock if you wanted to.
The actual overall length of the shocks is very close to stock.

Thanks Andy.

Was just thinking that if I opt to get these, then I can have the car lowered most of the time and raise it for the few times a year I head to Tahoe driving through snow.

This is possible but not the easiest to do. Very time consuming to get all sides at the same height

As someone who will be installing a similar set this week (hopefully), mind sharing why you are getting rid of them?

I'm going to be selling the car (truck) pretty soon. I had the H&R VHT and these are MUCH better for lowering.

F85MTuNED - did you buy these? How low are you going to drop yours? I am getting mine installed Friday and was planning 30" all around with factory settings for damp/rebound.
