Do you mean which which colour you are changing in iDrive?

Has anyone experienced this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I used 3076. I can take some screen shots tomorrow if you want.
My friends car only has 3070, no 3076
Hey I didn't notice anything in 3070 that stood out to change. It had a few ambient lighting things, but they seemed more to do with the dome lights I think. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Is your friends car just missing 3076 altogether or just nothing in it to change?
I'll have to look at it again to make sure, but I didn't see 3076 with the R G B. Much appreciated, I know you struggled with yours for a while. I thought I had both figured out.
My 3076 didn't have R G B either. It had the 255_——-numbers. I had to go into them and change the values inside.
I clicked up custom values and changed them to the numbers/letters I wanted.
If you don't have 3076 that means you have older software, I had that before but after software update about 2 months ago RGB showed up in 3076 and it was easy to change and get some more colours

Been messing around bimmercode expert mode and found an option to change the ambient light brightness, or atleast that’s the translation of that folder.

The default brightness value is 64. I changed default to 90 and at first it made it brighter but after that my eyes got used to it and it was tough to see the difference. I followed it by changing the default to 10 and at full brightness in the idrive menu, the ambient light was as if it was at the dimmest level.
I need someone with a fresh set of eyes to try it out and see if it actually made it brighter.

Below are the photos on how I got there

I've tried that and looks like it's not getting any brighter then 64 value, I have tried up to 99 and don't really see any difference, when I tried go lower numbers then it gets dimmer

Have anyone been able to upgrade the footwell ambient bulbs with better ones? Also the puddle bulb....

I was able to code my ambient light colors using bimmercode, happy with the result

Hey guys. With my 2018 modifying them 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 fields I got a stunning purple, so thanks for that

I’m trying to get the top dome (sunglasses holder light) to go white, can’t seem to get it to ‘take’, modifying the 0, 1 & 2 fields, Amy ideas? It keeps giving me this dirty pinky orange colour but nothing else, even when RGB is set as 255, 255, 255

I read that this feature was taken out or something, is it possible to do this on LCI 320i? It doesn't even have the "sport" or white color option.

Interesting you mention this, I just had MPPK installed and had to re-code everything, and I'm having the same issue. All the values that equal white like I had before are showing a pink ish hue, I will try something when I get home today see if it works.

Hi All,

Sorry to bring up a old topic but could someone share some like on the below:

color replacement for cars 2018.
1. Folder 3076.
2. top line 3076_3_3_255
3076_4_4_255
3076_5_5_255
3. middle line 3076_6_6_255
3076_7_7_255
3076_8__255
4.bottom line 3076_9_9_255
3076_10_10_255
3076_11_11_255

I have found the above using bimmercode but i want to know what is the next step after finding for example:

1. Folder 3076.
2. top line 3076_3_3_255
3076_4_4_255
3076_5_5_255

Could someone share some light.

My car is a 2017 F15 M50D (Sept 2017)

Be careful when you bring your car to the dealership for repairs. They had to reset the ecu on mine and got the software updated. My guess is the update locks the ecu from coding, I lost all my ambient lighting coding and failed to code it again after several attempts.
