612Ms look great, almost bought a set, but switching to BC forged RZ05 in the summer, and staying with 20s for ride quality

When I shopping for my x5, I drove 2 with staggered wheels, the ride was hard and noisy but on my square set x5 with 19 is ok.

I really love the look of the staggered wheels but if my ride changes, I rather go square with wider tires

Does anyone know how wide I can go with square set tires?

Thanks

Thanks for the input... so I have to do spacers? What kind of tire do you have?

I don't have spacers, although I may well add 10mm each side to the rear. I don't have the fender flares that the M Sport models do so it's not as obvious, but the rears do sit a little in from the fender. If you have an M Sport then I would say you will need spacers. The fronts look as normal. There were a couple of threads not so long ago regarding spacers for more info...

Beautiful. EXACTLY how I would have configured mine down to the 612m's and the custom fender vent inserts.

Did you install the open grill yourself? I thought it was a huge PIA for the marginal mod ROI, but I'm still happy I did it!

Front splitter on. Fitment wasn't 100% however so going to have it pulled off and remounted. Despite that, I think it looks awesome and def am happy with the gloss black and how it matches the Shadowline accenting:

I have a set of aftermarket wheels coming soon 22x10.5 35et square all around. Shop said the fronts will be flush and adding 15mm spacers to rear.

The fitment on one of the corners was off. Honestly was probably installer (me) error lol. You can see it if you zoom in that the corner is not fully flush.

Did you just buy X6 side vents and modify them?

Used some aftermarket x5 vents, and after some trimming, epoxy with carbon fiber material shaped them to look like x6
