I know the feeling. Daddy has his expensive AutoART models in his office, and my kids have the more affordable Bburagos. This morning I found my youngest had removed every single wheel and tire from the Bburagos.

A couple mods to ring in the new year. Build is coming together!

Been waiting a long time for this Supersprint Race Exhaust. Had the tips powder coated gloss black before installing which look sharp with the rest of the trim. I'll post a video soon of the sound which is lovely.

Thanks to saurabbhatia for the rear Brembo BBK in mint condition, and to blue dragon for the advice. I purchased some new Hawk HPS 5.0 pads for these Porsche Panamera calipers which are performing great.

Nice. Do you have your own manual torque wrench to change over your wheels? Any recommendations? I need a floor jack and wrench.

Budget? Lots of good options.
I use my 1/2 Snap On digital, which is overkill for many people, but buy once cry once. If you are just doing tires, a click type will work fine.

As for a jack. I'd go for 2 or 3T low profile. Aluminum if you can swing it in the budget.

As for a torque wrench, you want 1/2 drive up to approx 150 ft lbs. Spec for the X5 is about 105 ft lbs.

A BMW specific lift block will also save your jacking points from being crushed.

If you have a Harbor Freight near you they have good stuff at good prices. The torque wrench I bought was from amazon and seems to be more accurate than the BMW dealers!

Also, these will make life easier if you're changing tires.

Yep. They are alright, but I dont have anything to compare them to with the X5 since it's my first winter with it, but they suck compared to my E90 with iPikes.

He's probably talking about these:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...pter/ecs10721/

Edit.. Tip; When it comes to the jack pad in the above link. Wrap some electrical tape around the rectangular piece on the puck, to make it just big enough to stay attached to the lift point, when you push it in.
It's now much easier to locate the jack under it, without risking pinched fingers trying to hold the puck in place when pumping up the jack.

The only set (staggered) I could find was Toyo observe gsi5. Not really a known name in this part of the world but I have to say I'm positively surprised. These are soft compound tyres so they will grip even in really cold conditions. And they are quiet. Have had also Hankooks but man they wear off fast.
