I planned to keep this X5 for a long, long time and treated it as such. I didn’t think this day would be coming yet, but a month ago I stumbled across a deal on a 2017 X5M in Long Beach Blue that was local to me and I couldn’t pass it up. So now it’s time for my X5 to make its way to a new owner.

I purchased this X5 as CPO from a BMW dealership in October of 2021 with 43,xxx miles. I am a stay-at-home dad, so 95% of the miles I’ve put on this car have been with at least one of my kids in the car and thus me driving like a grandpa. Despite the modifications, it has not been beaten on, and I’ve maintained it as though I would have driven it for at least another 3 or 4 years. Oil changes every 5k miles or 6 months at a max. Brake rotors and pads only have about 10k miles. Only 93 octane gasoline since purchase. I do like to do a short on-ramp pull every now and then and have done about 8-10 Dragy 0-60 pulls, but in all honesty that’s about it for full throttle. I did manage a 4.7 0-60 with the OEM downpipe and 22” wheels and tires. I’d imagine with a high-flow downpipe and a little practice a very low 4 second time should be possible.

Everything on the car works and I have never had a maintenance issue or concern in the nearly 40 months I’ve owned it, including over 15 months with a Pure Stage 2 turbocharger.

Exterior is an 8.5 out of 10. Normal small rock chips on the hood and front bumper, no door dings. One scratch low down on the rear bumper on the passenger side near the exhaust outlet, I don’t think you’d notice it if you weren’t looking for it. The paint is in excellent shape. Only issue is the shadowline trim on the passenger front door is starting to peel. I have the new trim part and will include it in the sale.

Interior is in excellent shape, I’d rate it 9 out of 10. There are car seat impressions on the back seats but those should come out with time. Only issue is some slight discoloration of the passenger side front door card down low, you can only see it when you open that door. Could easily be painted or dyed.

I don’t even want to arrive at a total of what I’ve spent modifying this car, but suffice to say that whoever picks it up will be getting a great deal on an SUV enthusiast’s dream. This car looks great and gets a lot of compliments, is fast, comfortable, and has almost every option. I’m asking $28,000. Reasonable offers will be considered; low-ball offers will be ignored. Front and rear bumpers and associated trim pieces are all different.

Very nice mods. Your average guy would be happy with such. However, I don't blame you. Once you pop, you can't stop. My first BMW was a 2013 528i...then you get hooked! lol. Did you already buy the X5M?

Thank you! Very true on going down the BMW path. This X5 was my first. After driving it, my wife got herself a 2023 X7 M60i. Then I got the 2017 X5M. I'm sure there will be many more in the future. It's a sickness!!!
