I finally get to see a Dark Graphite with the M-sport front end! Looks amazing! My wife purchased a 2017 Dark Graphite X5. We really wanted a M-sport but it is not offered in Dark Graphite. So we opted to purchase the front M-sport bumper. Will most likely install sometime early next year. I wasn't aware of the components needed to convert

but a couple more bits and it will be ready to go to the bodyshop for paint/install.

Same here. I wanted Dark Graphite M Sport...BMW doesn't make it. Had I known the cost to do all my mods, I would probably have picked a dif color. But i was also buying a new, end of production 2018, so very little inventory. The only M Sports avail at my time of purchase were demos. So I went with new.

I do love it - so it's all good. And yes - some parts needed other than paint! lol I did the front and side sills, but had my lower rear bumper sanded, primed properly, and then painted to color match. Save the 2k or so for the rear skirt/paint/install.

I added sound deadening under the rear compartment under the spare tire, in the rear hatch, and under the rear floor boards and seats.

For just a little more quiet.
