128 wheels are timeless. I had 19” ones on my 05 530 and 21” on my 09 X5.

My fuel consumption didn’t change when I went from 20” to 21” (if that’s what you’re asking).

He’s a member on here.
I wouldn’t do it because I like the 469’s better and there are way more tire options for the 20” wheel.

Probably because not everyone wants to pay the $$$ for those amazing Michelin tires.

I am not sure what youre asking here.

Which size of what is best for what?

If youre ordering a set of wheels/tires for your F15, and want a 21", I highly recommend the OEM 375M Style wheels.

I am flattered, Hah.

I still recommend the BMW 375 M style wheel and MPSS tires for summer and Yokohama BlueEarth for the winter months.

Some other options are the BMW 612 w/ BMW 611 for winters. Check out this thread, it has a lot of factory options and information.

Do you guys have Google? It’s amazing.
612
375
611
Those are all styles of BMW wheels. (All 21 inch wheels)

It sounds like you want tires, based off of your statement “size is 225/55/r18”.

The size of the tire depends on the size of the wheel. The last number “r18” is the wheel size.
For example, my tires for my 375 wheels is 325/30/R21 (rear) and 285/35/R21 (front).
Clear as mud?

I assume you are asking what 612 means. It's the name of the wheel. You have 375, 612, 469, etc. etc.

Yes, tire sizes are universal. So even in the Ukraine, it'll be something like 285/35/21.
