Sorry for the long delay here, been crazy busy.

Alright so I still love this setup just as much as my original thoughts, if not more. I did mess with the settings a bunch and finally have it where I want. At first I started off too soft, which was great for around town but it was scary/floaty going fast on the highway so I had to find a balance.

When you adjust these settings you are supposed to turn the adjustments all the way to fully firm and then go backwards from there hence my descriptions below.

Front Bump: -6 from full stiff (was -8)
Front Rebound: -9 from full stiff (was -12 which was too soft, then -6 which was too harsh)

Rear Bump: -6 from full stiff (was -7)
Rear Rebound: -10 from full stiff (tried -9/-11, this is just right)

So I personally find this to be the best balance of everything. I learned a lot in my research about what bump vs rebound does to the dynamics of the car and it's been a fun process. I hope some people find this useful.
Thanks for doing the research on these. I'll give them a try soon 😇

You might want to check the installation.
If both side are the same length from top of shock to lower spring perch, then it may be that the shock body didn't slip in all the way in to the lower fork.

I finally got my kw's installed. Omg, the ride is awesome and smooth. I ended up with the kw recommended settings 6 for everything.

Want to thanks Kruppa for getting me to go smoother route and Ben for hooking me up 😇

These look awesome! Though one question to you all, how does a mod like this affect the stability of the car, especially if you like going fast and/or going to the track.

I mean the oem ones and the height of the car is factored in with the electronic stability control of the car right? Will chanting it, compromise this and other systems?

What should I expect to pay in labor to have these installed? Closer to $500 or $1,500? Thanks!

It's better in every way. Settings will matter, though.

I've said this in other threads, but i can't believe BMW doesn't just ask KW to do their stock M suspension.

I have had a couple of drinks so please forgive me if these answers are in the posts above...

For the folks that have done the KW install, what suspension setting did you typically roll with prior to the install? I am Sport + unless my kids are in the car. I despise body roll. I ask bc the consensus is that the ride is "better" but not sure how to interpret what better means and what suspension setting it is being compared to.

Once I close my next deal at work, the KWs are going on. Might be 6 months or more unfortunately.

And sorry for being annoying but the ARS is no longer available after the install, correct? I am pretty sure the damper control is disabled but assumed ARS too even though I haven't read that anywhere. Thanks all!

ARS is still active as these refer to the dynamic sway bars 😇

Agree with KcTiger...@daytonaviolet can you explain the likes and dislikes of the stock setup vs h&r vtf vs kw? I'm looking to upgrade to the h&r vtf bc i like the adjustability of stock settings but if the KW improves the car's abilities, I might reconsider haha thanks for the input

Ok thanks DV. I definitely don’t mind giving up EDC but was hoping to maintain ARS.
