Brembo Big Brake Kit on 35d

I was think about installing Brembo BBK on my 35d, do they need to be coded in like the MPBK does? and why/what does the coding do? ive been hearing conflicting things from different shops...some say you need to code and some say you don't. *

You do need to code it, it will affect braking performance. Modern cars, everything is computer controlled. Pretty easy to DIY:
