Auxiliary water pump for E-drive coolant system F15 40e

Recorded this a month ago, not really knowing what the noise came from.

Now I've got an error code stating "222D5C: E-drive cooling system: shutdown of the el. Coolant pump due to blockage" and this noise isn't there any longer. So I'm suspecting that it's a water pump for the E-drive system that has blown.
Does anybody know where this aux water pump is located and if this is a DIY job?
I don't have access to a dealer, so I'm kinda forced to try to fix this myself.

Found the pump at FCP Euro, so I can source the par t myself.
