Sorry, no videos. To me it’s tame in comfort even with valves open but sounds more throaty. Open up valves in sport or sport plus and it’s a beast and really comes alive over 3300 rpm to redline. FYI, im running the single mid not EL and have comp muffler.

CSZ Downpipes, CSZ single mid pipe, CSZ axle back. $1550 for all shipped to my door in FL. Can't beat that and sounds great.

@BrockDM, do you still have the controller on? How's longevity been so far? I looked at the others you posted and 500+ is too much for what they do. |

I'm gonna shut this thread down with the BEST exhaust upgrade I have ever seen/heard: https://fb.watch/rPIFc2697J/
Granted that it's on a Porsche but I think it can easily be adapted for X3M/X4M (mostly for comp but I can see it working for non-comp too). |

I'd like to code off the ASD and get a valve controller to really make it as good as can be. |

I ran RVG catless downpipes, ER catless midpipe, and Dinan axel-back. It was a beast. I had RK tunes front mount intakes and a custom tune. Sometimes I did not turn on music.

I have pics but no vids. But for the sound, I first did downpipes and sound was cool. It was a little beefier and a slight louder but you may think it's oem. Then I added a midpipe. This is when a honda civic high pitched rasp would happen around 2-3k rpm. It was embarrassing and annoying. No one knew why it happens, I researched for like a month, even asking custom exhaust builders. I finally found out, it's too much air going into the stock muffler, so once I changed that out, the rasp went away.
I've had people slow down on the freeway and talk about how sick it sounds and on red lights. Other bmws and I couldn't find it online now but I knew what it was at the time, either a camaro or charger or challenger special numbered edition, it was white and had blue decal of the numbered like " Out of XXX" some crazy one. I saw it when I was researched special edition cars, like the yenko and drag packs and it was something rare like that I think only produced for one year. He stopped me on the street and we dragged raced and he was blown away saying my car sounded better than his. I also smoked him. |
