BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 3,250.00

Item Interest
Upgrading my 2014 for a 2017 from my local dealer.

I have 21" OEM 375s powder coated black in my 2014, and the 2017 I'm looking to buy has 20" OEM black 469s in literally new condition with brand new Conti's (installed by dealer as part of the CPO). My 375s have 9/32nds Michelin Pilot Super Sports in the back and same but 4/32s in the front (picture below is with prior Dunlops..).

I'm finding a set of 467s just so I can return my old X5 with.

At the end I'll have both the 375s and the 469s, and I'll need to sell one of the sets. I'm happy to sell either.

I'm in South Florida, so shipping cost will need to be considered.

I need to sell one of the sets, and preferably the black 469s, since in new condition. Not looking to trade.

I've taken possession of my new X5, and the black 369m with new Conti's are ready to ship. Wheels are at 100%, no curbside damage and have not refinished them. Needless to say, TPMS are also included.

Considering other listings price comparable 369s around $1,500-$1750, almost all with some level of curb damage and tires with varying degrees of wear, I want to entertain offers upwards of $2000 only (+ shipping). Believe it's reasonable.

So are you selling the 20's or 21's?

At this time I'm leaning towards selling only the 469s given the greater appeal due to their condition and the new tires. I'm happy to hear offers on the 375s as well.

I'll take the pictures as soon as the wheels are removed and Dorian goes away.
But in case of doubts, here's a link to the VIN decode with the 22P code which is Jet Black 469s:

Whoa that was fast forum seems pretty active thats great. Definitely not questioning if they were oem just wanted to confirm they were original blacks that are painted from factory. To 201: just because the car is a cpo doesn't mean the wheels come as is my cpo X5 came with black 467m but found out later they were originally grey. Wheels started chipping/flaking pretty bad within months guessing just a bad powdercoat job from the previous owner but I was fortunate enough to have the dealer replace all wheels with the original ones.

Buyer backed out on the factory black 469m, so available again. Wheels were removed with less than 20 miles on the tires. OEM TPSM and center caps included.

Looking for $3,200 + actual shipping.

Thanks for the interest.

GLWS sale - I'll be curious to see what these sell for

I just bought a 2017 50i with OEM black 469's, and I'm gonna sell them pretty quickly, I'm not much for black wheels & I want 21's. I have no idea what they're worth, but this thread is an indicator of sorts, I hope. Mine (wheels & Pirelli tires) have just 8K miles on them since new.

Sad to say but you'll get nowhere near what op is asking for. The 469s are great looking wheels but there just oem wheels which was a 500$ add on option during build. No ones paying near msrp prices for just oem wheels when there are far more other choices in bigger and better designed aftermarket wheels heck not too long ago Ive seen 2 threads where I missed out on due to local pick up only on 612s here in mint condition with basically new tires selling for 3k when msrp for wheels and tires are roughly 7k. Lately there has been plethora of sales on orbit grey 611m winter sets going for 3k which I find ridiculous considering I paid 3200 out the door last year from herb chambers bmw but yet sellers seem to think somehow they can sell it for more than what its worth now just based on a msrp price from 4 years ago. To answer your question if you do a quick search here you would see mostly the machined grey 469s listed for around 2k in good condition/good tread remaining and these ads were mostly older. I did a quick search and noticed the grey ones are a bit more expensive than the black ones per getbmwparts.com. At the end of the day you can list them for whatever you want but realistically our Fxx models keep depreciating with everything that goes along with it

Exactly this.. I keep checking these classified's every day to find a set of black wheels to buy so I can put them on my X5 and then sell my silver ones. I don't want to pay much more than 1500 – 2k though because I know that I can't realistically get much more than that for mine.

I believe in supply and demand. These listings prices are well in line with what these sets are going for on eBay, where there are many more potential buyers attracted. I did a search of sold listings of 469m, and they're all in the $3000 range, +/-, in comparable conditions. It's an older set granted, but for some reason, there's strong demand out there, especially for the alternate finishes. Not disputing anything else being said, about depreciation, etc., but if the broader market dictates that price, I don't see why the selling price in the forum needs to be adjusted on account of sensitivities or other subjective factors. I don't want to see the forum as the Goodwill store.
This set is listed on eBay and it will eventually sell there, sooner than later. I'm just giving the forum members an opportunity to get them as well, that's all!

While I agree with you on supply and demand it's just not at that price. For the past couple of months I have been searching for 469s on the forums, craiglist and ebay and none of them at that price has been sold.

Matter of fact on ebay most of the ads have been listed for nearly a year.

On ebay you have fake pictures listed on one of the listings of the black 469s with conti dws06 from NY at 2600$..those wheels were actually being sold by a member here named X6er2018 in new like condition and with 90%+ tires from Seattle he even had his receipts still in hand for wheels that were only a few months old I know this because I made him an offer and he declined. That ad isn't legit...just sayin theres so much you can take from ebay listings when it comes to wheels
