Internal Lighting Question
Can any of you tell me if the strips on the back of the front seats should light up. They look to have a similar led strip as fitted to the doors and dash.

I think mine do...car is in the shop right now. I believe they lit up for 2014 but they removed that for 2015 and on if I remember reading that somewhere here correctly.

Hi Folks, thanks very much for your replies!
Mine is a 2016, but from what you have all said, they may or may not light up? It seems crazy to have the strip there, but not to supply power to the lights - unless it is just the plastic strip with no lights behind it. It isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual and I doubt the dealer would have a clue! |

These are the changes for the X5
