2nd Row Armrest

Is the angle of the open armrest supposed to be at a 90 degree angle or should it be a little more open say like 110 degrees? In other words, when you open the armrest in the 2nd row does it drop further down than 90 degrees creating a slight bit of a slope towards the seat?

Mine does also. I thought it was odd also, but apparently that is normal.
