my 2016 F15 35xi xLine upgrades thread

Hi guys,
I own a 2016 F15 35xi xLine, mineral white with mocha interior and I think is time to update it (after I saw the new X5 I decided to keep this car for a while; I'm not saying that's not a nice car but I like F15 more for now)

So here is my list and please come up with advices and tips where I can find good prices

1. MPPK - already bought from a member here and planning to install it next week - done and it's awesome

2. MPE - found one again on this forum, negotiating the price

3. M Performance Exhaust Tips (Includes new lower valence) - I need this to install the MPE on my xLine bumper; see the link below:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/18302349212/

I will paint these myself in black gloss
update: Ben is painting them

4a. Debadge the car: done! (no M badge on it, I promise
4b Blackout all chrome (planning to use 3m wrap, DIY...let's see

5. BMW M PERFORMANCE BLACK KIDNEY GRILLE - LEFT & RIGHT (gloss black)
update: I decided I like more double-slat ones so I ordered

6. PAINTED TRUNK ROUNDEL TRIM black gloss
https://ind-distribution.com/product?sku=IND-F85-RTRIM
will try some wraps from ebay first

7. PAINTED HOOD ROUNDEL black gloss
https://ind-distribution.com/product...D-F85-HROUNDEL
will try some wraps from ebay first

8. Painted Mineral White front reflectors

9. M Performance interior carbon trims
I choose brushed aluminum instead

10. Knee pads (black nappa)

11. M Performance illuminated door sills

12. Add a subwoofer in trunk like: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1041781

Maybe, but not sure:

13. 6WB Digital Cluster retrofit (with HUD)

14. NBT (non touch screen) to NBT EVO touch screen retrofit if possible

15. RaceChip TB Ultimate (after my warranty expires in 7k miles)
update: actually Racechip GTS Black + app

16. bang olufsen retrofit (only the front central speaker if possible and maybe the front door tweeters)

17. invisihitch

Visually I'd just black out the chrome window trim. Could also use plastidip.

you mean to exterior? will do the window trims and probably those small pieces in front bumper
for interior I still have to see some pictures on how mocha interior goes with carbon trims...

Yes. Exterior window trim. Personally I kind of like the chrome bumper trim. Black would just hide them. But it's your car.

will probably leave that at the end and decide when I have the rest done;
not sure about the chrome line on the rear spoiler; black or mineral white to blend with the car?

I just installed mppk at my dealership(about $85) and I can feel the difference in power and how it handles. Still not a 50i but it's totally worth it.

MPE is next

You'll be surprised how long plastidip lasts.

I hope so, because it's a pain to remove the bottom trims on the front bumper to wrap them
